if u stir the pot anti-clockwise,

u might have been a witch,
or simply that u are left-handed.

k took this snapshot, with his new mobile phone (finally),
of me stirring a pot of creamy pumpkin soup - my first attempt!
made several improvisions to an online recipe to make it easier to make with my limited kitchen equipment

ingredients -
1 pumpkin
small tub of heavy cream
chicken stock - just dissolve a chicken stock cube in water for instant chicken stock

steps -
remove skin of pumpkin, cut into small cubes
pour chicken stock & pumpkin into rice cooker
use the slow-cook function to cook for 3-4 hours (i went to bed after that)
use a potato masher (i bought one from cold storage for $4) to mash the softened pumpkin
(the original recipe called for a food processor to process this - pretty sure not many amongst us own a food processor, a simple masher will do enough good, it gives the soup more texture anyways)
transfer the soup into a pot and simmer over small fire, stirring constantly.
add heavy cream.
pinch of salt (or if u are me, many pinches! =P)

and you'll have an entire pot of yummy creamy pumpkin soup all for less than $8 to enjoy this rainy season!
