i can get in touch with virtual world again

he was all excited when there was a 50% discount off the monthly subscription
my initial reaction was rather lukewarm "huh? hua wei? what's that?"
little did i realise this little contraception would be the portal that brought me back to the virtual world

i remember my "days in melbourne" (i love to reminisce this way) where there was the luxury of a broadband connection
icq-ing, blogging, friendster-ing - the virtual world would exist in parallel to the real
then i was flung back to reality about the same time i was brought back to singa by the boeing
relying on my dial-up connection was a chore, too many firewalls in the office evenutally forced me to give up trying any other websites besides .gov.sg

then along came this fella with a spot of blue glow. now i can even surf on the road.

i'm back!
